Comprehensive eye exams should be performed once a year in order to check the health of your eyes. During our comprehensive eye exams, we check for infections, diseases, high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and glaucoma conditions. Screenings conducted by schools or general doctors are not comprehensive or accurate. Comprehensive eye exams can only be performed by an experienced and licensed optometrist.
